Colnbrook with Poyle Parish Council would like to make you aware that the Arora Hotel are hosting a community engagement event for residents on 14th July 2026 with regards to London Heathrow’s expansion plans.
This event will be held from 2pm to 6pm at Colnbrook Village Hall, Vicarage Way, Colnbrook, SL3 0RF and all are welcome to attend, to listen to the proposals from representatives and make their views known.
This will be the start of a number of community engagement sessions and Colnbrook with Poyle Parish Councillors will endeavour to give you advanced notice of all events as they come up. As some of you are aware, Heathrow West is at the early stages of planning, with an application for a Development Consent Order expected to be submitted in late 2027. As part of the planning process, community engagement is designed to address affected residents concerns and inform the decision making process going forward.
The plans include:
- an initial 2,400m runway, which could be expanded to 3,500m in the future if needed
- a new Terminal; and
- associated infrastructure.
